Thanks Barry.

Diluted rodinal is fantastic for high contrast scene. If remembered rightly, negative was developed for more than 30 minutes.

Re: Muttonbird Island - Pinhole

Hi RJ, The pinhole was a Canon EOS camera body cap. I since modified it to fit onto a lens board. I have read the trick is to make sure there are no reflective areas on the pinhole that will further scatter the light. Mine is almost matt black, apart from a tiny area where the pinhole is. https://c4...

Re: Muttonbird Island - Pinhole

How'd you manage photos this sharp with a pinhole? Hi RJ, The pinhole is 0.4mm. I am pleasantly surprised too how sharp they turned out. My exposure reading for the light condition was 11 sec after reciprocal failure taken into account. I exposed them for 30 sec regardless, just to be sure. I think...

Muttonbird Island - Pinhole

Been a while since I took my last pinhole shot (7 - 8 years ago). The large format forum peaks my interest, and took these set last weekend. Set distance to approx. 75mm focal length, exposed for 30 sec. Kodak T max 100. https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7751/17513919572_7010217947_c.jpg https://c1.stat...

Re: Mother's Day gift

Thanks Barry.
Glad I started it in 2013. Will keep doing it until they are both fed up posing in front of camera.
Only once in a lifetime opportunity. We will look at these pics with fondness when we are old, how lovely these two kids are.

Cobwebs

http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k265/vuichong/epson019_zpspbemzwzd.jpg This was taken in early autumn 2014. Field walking distant from home. I cycle on the bike path along this field and had always wanted to photograph the cobwebs ladened with dews. I used expired Tetanal E6 3 chemistry to proces...
