Re: Fence Line, Wilpena Pound, Sunset.

Yet again, Maris, you have wandered into the world of visual prose and unearthed a poetic encounter.

One of the things I most regret about divesting myself of was a 1948 Kodak Portrait lens I frolicked with in my 8x10 days. And that also dra...

Re: Past Imperfect

Aaaaah, the veneration of the aberration!!! How I love it!! Something that will never happen with digital capture, but watch some techno-boffin make a filter to 'emulate' it if they haven't already).

Re: Window, Newstead Wharf.

This bag bellows discussion makes me feel quite chuffed. As part of re-equipping with the Sinar I managed to pick up a brand new Wide Angle Bellows I for $60.00 plus freight. That said, USPS was embarrassing slow. Still champing at the bit to get out and shoot but my head is full of slippery slime a...

Re: Nude in Tree

Maris, Perhaps they are kind and getting into a more facile position for facilitating waist-level shooting on cameras that often don't have waist-level finders. Having said that, with my mewly acquired Sinar I do have a reflex finder that will be handy for a bloke with dodgy legs don't don't crouch ...
