Thought I'd try and capture some wildlife, not the best thing I've done by a long shot, but pleasing nonetheless. Maris, I can certainly understand your dilemma, done that a few times. Can be frustrating, but on the other hand can be wonderful if the light is right, the subject is reasonable and your viewpoint works. Regardless, still looks pretty alright. You didn't have a wide angle, or is the wide angle view...

The aim of the photograph was to somehow depict the highlights without them blowing out. Freshly expanded leaves are the glossiest and have the best reflections, so pretty much ...

Thank you Barry, they do indeed present great possibilities, however, unless the light is just right, one usually ends up with a flat uninteresting image.

Pretty good picture there Barry, also a nice camaraderie of cameras there.

One shudders at the thought of heading to the dentist and noticing that they were loading up a panoramic dental film camera; open wide!!!!

Thanks Maris, yes the 250mm is no my go to lens for a lot of stuff these days, especially isolating things if they are reasonably close.

I tried to walk closer to help with the isolating possibilities of this lens, but I started to sink...
