Re: Looking for a small developing space

Mate, that would be perfect. Have a look around and let me know, I know another photographer that would probably be interested as well.

Looking for a small developing space

Good evening everyone, So, a particular microprocessor developer unit has taken my eye, and as such, I'd like to find a space to set her up. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for just yet, as I'm not sure what's possible. Ideally, I'd find a small commercial space, that I can share with other pho...

Re: Finding work as an assistant

Thanks for the input Ray :) Since posting this, my situation has changed somewhat. I'm now in a full-time engineering internship position, which doesn't leave much time for assisting I'm afraid! I'd still relish the opportunity if it presented itself though.

Re: Greetings

Welome Hoffy! I'm in a very similar position. I've recently started developing my own B&W 35mm and 120 film, and am dangerously close to considering a 4x5 field camera. Dangerously.

C-41 Bleach

Good evening all, My mate and I are looking at trying our hand at some C-41 processing, but we're getting stuck on the bleach component. I haven't done much research into it, but my mate was complaining that the minimum amount you can buy from Vanbar is much much more than we'd need (in the short to...

Re: Imacon Scanners

I've got the Flextight Photo 'Baby' Imacon. I've always been impressed with this thing. I used it primarily for scanning my 617's, but more and more I'm using it for other MF formats as well. The Flexcolor software is great, I just haven't got round to figuring out the deal with scanning in the 'RA...

Re: Coloured Filters for B&W

Thanks for the input guys! I'm familiar with the Cokin system, and definitely don't have the budget to invest in Lee gear, so I might look at getting some X-Pro stuff. The 617 has a 77mm filter which is nice, as it matches my Nikon SLR glass, but the GX680III ranges from 82mm to 95mm all the way up ...
