Re: Fomapan 100 Classic and R09 developer

I find myself asking the same question Lachlan. My mate gave me a bottle of Rodinal that he had lying around, which I've been using with TMax 100, and I haven't been impressed thus far. I'm not experienced enough to be able to comment on tonality or contrast, but in terms of sharpness/resolution, I ...

Fomapan 100 Classic and R09 developer

G'day everyone, Alistair has very kindly offered to lend me his Cambo 4x5 to try, and I'm quickly trying to put together a film/developer combo to use with it. I've never gone to Blanco Negro, but I've always wanted to. This might be a perfect reason to go and grab a 50 sheet box of Fomapan Classic,...

Re: Looking for a small developing space

Sounds good to me Walter. I don't know the area at all, but my friend's parents live just down the road, so he might know a nice spot to head to. I may ask Alistair to bring along his Toyo as well for me to check out, I'm still not sure on whether I want to invest in a field or view system... I can...

Re: Looking for a small developing space

Just bumping this up guys. I've PMed a couple of you that showed interest, and am still waiting to hear back from one or two. I'm organising to meet with the owner this coming Saturday at 10am, which will be a good opportunity for us to have a look around and see if the place suits our needs. PM me ...

Re: Self Portrait on Harman Direct Positive Paper

Am I correct in assuming that 'direct positive paper' is used instead of a film medium?

Re: Self Portrait on Harman Direct Positive Paper

I'm with Alistair, these self-portraits are awesome. I particularly like this one. Truth be told, I didn't understand much of what you wrote about the process Maris :P I'm still learning with all this stuff, and most of that was well beyond me!

Re: Looking for a small developing space

I know, I'm very happy with that! We've got a couple of interested people on here, but I haven't had any confirmation PM's as of yet. I'd like to get the ball rolling with finalising this in the next day or so, so I'd appreciate some replies.
