Re: Large format auction.

If you could afford to, but it all and then ebay / LFPF / APUG / Rangefinder Forum etc... You would likely make a ton of money from it

Re: WTB jobo 8x10 Expert Drum

http://www.lumiere-shop.de <--- This is where I buy all my Jobo gear... Its almost ALWAYS cheaper than buying used gear off ebay... I bought drums, reels, center cores, thermometers... you name it... They are the goods... Postage costs sting a bit, but if you split post with someone else who wants s...

Re: Manfrotto 055 XproB Tripod and RRS BH-55 pro ballhead.

I just dont need something this big and REALLY REALLY need a Schneider IIIb center filter... the 90mm F/8 does not illuminate 6x17 velvia 50 anywhere near as much as I (or the velvia) would like As an incentive.. I will entertain offers of $100 + postage costs.. Will be shipped...

Manfrotto 055 XproB Tripod and RRS BH-55 pro ballhead.

Looking to downsize my tripod and head setup as my camera size and weight has downsized rather dramatically... I bought the setup about 10 or 12 months ago when I was frequently shooting wildlife and sports with either my D2Xs + 300 F/2.8 or 600mm F/4. Since now the biggest camera/lens setup I use i...

Re: More panoramic action.

Testing out coloured filters today..

First one is red, Second is orange... both used with CPL.
Both are 1/2sec exposures @ F/32
Ilford Fp4+ in Rodinal 50:1. 10:45sec @ 24c.

I Really really need a IIIb Center filter... :D

Re: More panoramic action.

Heres something I shot the day before yesterday... One is 617, the other is 612, Velvia 50. I prefer the 617 shot to the 612 shot.. I think they are both about 1/3rd under exposed.. And I should have probably used a 1 stop soft grad on both shots but I was being a lazy bum... Happy with them, but I ...

Re: Increasing contrast via development?

Lachlan, I do all my BW by hand... I have been told varying things about jobo development of BW films, including double development, (ie - mixing 500ml of chems as I would for inversion processing, put 250ml in at a time, and split the dev in half so instead of 10 mins inversion, do 2x5min continuou...
