I am not sure .....

..... if I posted this in the old forum. If I did, I am sorry to repeat myself. There were renovations happening at this site and I intend going back to see what the situation is now. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7209/6939530905_d64ec857e3.jpg 4x5 negative scanned and digitally prepared & prese...

Re: First images from my home made camera!! :D

Well, isn't that truth and justification for what we choose to do right there! I am not sure if I ever worked with this location back in the travelling girlie days but I can tell you that there are dudes forever getting down there with their DSLRs shooting the guts out of dear old Dicky at sunset an...

Re: Question regarding usernames

Maybe there can be a real name which is visible only by those granting access and a display name visible to all? Just a thought.

Re: The 8x10 is ready to see duty .....

Great to hear Welly,

I am looking forward to seeing the results. Maybe some band shots on 8x10 would be interesting. It'd certainly be a challenge.

I went out in search of subjects Saturday and Sunday but found nothing in the right light. The traffic on Saturday also added to the difficulty.

Re: Question regarding usernames

Sounds like a plan Welly.

But how do we do it? I have looked at my profile settings but see no provision for changing username.

Particularly interesting is the Kodak Hierarchy of who photographs what.

Re: The 8x10 is ready to see duty .....

John, No need for a cognac or a discussion. The bellows are not saggy and do not impinge on the image forming projection of the lens. I'll either be using the 8x10 conversion kit on the 4x5 to increase marketability or I'll be putting it aside, as you've commented, until I devise or get access to a ...

Re: The 8x10 is ready to see duty .....

My daily reference to the 8x10 ground glass when I travelled this road previously was: " Roadside Television ". Transporting the Sinar is a bitch — this time and last time. The remedy in days of yore was that I bought a brand spanking new Toyo 810M MkII. History might repeat itself. The Si...
