New hosting, new admin

As Alastair mentioned, there's been a few changes behind the scene. Alastair needed to hand over the hosting of this forum, and I've decided to take it on. I don't plan any major changes any time soon, so hopefully it should be service as usual. The forum is now hosted on one of my virtual servers a...

Re: WTB Durst 138 Enlarger

Good luck with your search for a 138.

It reminds me that I really should pull my finger out and finally restore that 3S (precursor to the 138) that I've got buried in my shed...

FREE: print/film drums and motorised base [Adelaide]

I've got these items to give away (pick-up only) ⋅ Simma-Roller motorised base (working) ⋅ 2 x smaller print drums ⋅ 1 x larger print drum I used to use these for 4x5 sheet film. 8x10 sheet film should easily fit as well but I haven’t tried that in these drums. And of c...

Re: PM's not working.

I've had the same problem before, at least a couple of times.

I did report it at the time but the gist of the reply was that it's "normal", and the messages do eventually get sent. To me this sounds odd, but it's not my forum :D

When I said "all is well", I omitted to say that was for HTTP, not HTTPS. Sorry if I misled you, Alastair.

Good luck with the certificate.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice the Widelux in that video. Interesting place/moment to use one, I'd love to have seen how those images turned out.

Re: Supplies of chemicals in Australia?

I haven't used them for a while, but Ace Chemicals here in Adelaide carries (carried?) all that kind of thing. Phenidone is still listed on their web site: http://www.acechem.com.au/P.html
