Re: From a More Innocent Time

I remember first seeing that symbol years ago outside it's more recent context and was quite horrified to see it. It really made me feel uncomfortable. Funnily enough, I feel the same when I see a Union flag/jack - being a pom, when I see a union jack back in the UK, it tends to be wrapped around th...

Re: Adding to the Inventory

I've got a new addition to the family, but it was so cheap, I would have been nuts to pass on it. I bought a Cambo 8x10 a while back and I've got my Wisner field camera, which I absolutely love but find it difficult to use with wide lenses when I'm focusing to infinity - it simply won't - plus I've ...

Re: FS: Sekonic L-488 Digi-spot

Does it work alright? I think it's about time I got a spot meter for the 617. Yeah, works great. Just surplus to needs now! More info at http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?79429-Selecting-a-spot-meter-Sekonic-L-488-Digi-Spot and the manual can be found at http://www.cameram...

Re: Darkrooms

I'll get some photos my darkroom up when I next re-construct it. It's a bit of a temporary/ad hoc affair in the bathroom! Would love a dedicated room but alas not in my current apartment.

Survey: Photo Vests

As someone who's been shooting for a number of years, I've never owned a photo vest. Do you own (and wear) a photo vest? Would you potentially wear one? Do you have a matching beard?

FS: Sekonic L-488 Digi-spot

Have got my Sekonic 758 returned from repairs and so have a spare spotmeter that I no longer need. It also does flash metering of some description but never used it so I couldn't say how.

$100?

Re: Mixing and keeping D-76.

That makes sense. I hear there are certain bottles you should avoid using. I forget which but I understand standard coke bottles should be good to go?
