Weeping Willow, Hollow Tree Road

11x14 clear glass ambrotype 36 seconds @ f45, 240mm Schneider G-Claron (f9 version) https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4346/36934508605_58d9a02095_b.jpg I really wanted to get the thin weeping foliage of this tree but it was tricky trying to get (most of) the tree in focus as well so I had to sacrifice ...

I've ready been speaking to anton orlov about this. It looks like this is the max for the bellows In the above picture you can see the front standard is racked all the way to the front, the bellows are stretched to their limit. Re: Already lusting after 16x20..

This will be it for a while, I think Lachlan. I got the 12x20 glass plates cut yesterday and looking at them I think they are the perfect size and aspect ratio for my style of photography, and I've been pondering over some display and framing ideas and I have come up with an awesome solution that al...

Already lusting after 16x20..

Well darn. Went and got myself a 12x20 Korona for a really great price from a gentleman in the US. The whole transaction restored a little faith in humanity Sold the 8x10 on to a bloke in the UK, replaced it with an 8x10 plate insert for my 11x14 camera so i dont lose that format altogether. Heres a...

Re: First few rolls from my RealitySoSubtle 6x17 pinhole

Have you considered b&w film? A lot cheaper than colour and no problem with finding someone to process it. Cheers Barry. Yeah I have considered b/w film. I need to figure out what I've done with my patterson tanks and stuff. I have a feeling I may have thrown it all out. I do really like colour...
