Glad to see film has quite significantly more dynamic range! Still, nothing wrong with those Fuji cameras! Even though I exchanged my X Pro 1 for a Leica M6.

Alastair,

In a similar manner, I am just flogging my Fuji X-E 1 with two lenses as a means of reimbursing the cost of having just bought yet another Hasselblad.

Next step will be to reduce some of the surplus LF crap I have accumulated.

Ah! What Hasselblad did you buy? I keep getting digital stirrings - an Olympus OM-D or a Nikon D700 (available used from Gumtree and eBay for little over $1000 - and it's GREAT camera) going on in my head but I'm fighting the good fight!

Particularly after shooting some 4x5 Velvia 100F over my holiday and getting the developed sheets back today. I only want digital for colour but got some beautiful colour back from the lab, so the urge has subsided a little. The way I'm seeing it at the moment is roughly $1000 for the camera plus the cost of a bunch of lenses is a LOT of colour sheets developed.

Oh, I'd got a bargain on boxes of Velvia 100F ($20 a box) from a place up in Brisbane. I bought them out of their remaining boxes just before my holiday.
