Ryan, Jake & Simon

Postby alexgard » 19 Aug 2015, 20:44

Three plates from today. I really dislike scanning these things. They are really hard to scan well. They are much nicer in the flesh and smell nice too :)
I am very slowly getting the hang of it all. But still quite a ways to go. As far as portraits go these are pretty uninteresting poses. I don't have a lot of experience under my belt in that department but I'll work on it.

4x5 ambrotypes on black glass.

Simon is also a really talented young photographer from down here. Shooting digital, 35mm and medium format film. I've been letting him mess around with my LF camera from time to time and he's super committed to what he does.
