Nude, paper negative, selective sepia
Gelatin-silver photograph on Agfa Classic VC FB photographic paper, image size 24.7cm X 19.3cm, from a 8x10 single weight IB.4 1P Ilfobrom paper negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.

Dilute Viradon sepia toner was applied with the point of a toothpick to get a neat effect without going over the edges of the figure.

Amazing control, Maris. Whenever I try anything like that I invariably get unacceptable overflows that ruin the print.

Thank Barry Kirsten. A useful trick for selective toning is to mix the toner with sugar to form a controllable syrup. Once the area to be toned is covered a quick wash-off is with a strong jet of water ensures the edges don't bleed.
Working close to the print with magnifying glasses is unpleasant with a sulfide (rotten egg smell) based toner. A breezy verandah is a good place to do the job.
