Hill's Homestead, Wilpena Pound

Gelatin-silver photograph on Agfa Classic MCC 111 VC FB photographic paper, image size 19.4cm X 24.4cm, from a Kodak Tmax 100 4x5 negative exposed in a Tachihara 45GF double extension field view camera fitted with a Schneider Super Angulon 90mm f8 lens.

The front to back sharpness comes from a combination of front tilt, swing, and fall, plus stopping down to f32. To keep the verticals true there was no back tilt, just a bit of swing.

An iconic Australian homestead image, Maris. Expertly handled as usual. I imagine it would look rather awkward if done on MF for example, without movements. A lovely image.
