Postby Bazz8 » 17 Dec 2018, 21:57

I have taken this shot 4 or 5 times and alway lost the tree in the rocks,
we had rain the day before so clean leaves and rocks rather than dust.
5x4 Foma 200 negative
Shot 12:08pm
Red Filter
Exposure F/45 9.8 sec
BTZS file
Paper Foma Variant 311 gloss
Sepia Toned

Very nice, would like to see the original, it looks incredibly detailed.

Last time we walked Brachina Gorge, which was around sunrise in late July, we spotted a Yellow Footed rock wallaby. As we were travelling with my Sister in-law and her husband from Germany, hanging around for pictures was secondary; although I was holding a Nikon F3, I missed the opportunity as it took off at a great rate of knots.

Thanks Mick the taking lens is a sleeper 'Commercial KOMURA 210 f/6.3
it is razor sharp with the Pacemaker Speed graphic.
The other is a Graflex OptAr W.A. f 6.8 Tiny but does it produce sharp shots also
when my eyes let me LOL :D
The other lens is a Tele-Arton 250 mm f/5.6 Small bellows draw and gives a different look to the shot selection.

Very interesting, I have a Komura T400 which, when used carefully, is quite sharp but not razor sharp. It really stretches the front capability of my Shen Hao camera, which could be a contributing factor to its apparent lack of super sharpness. I used it for some super close-up portraits on my Toyo 45G monorail, they were excellent.

I too have a Schneider Kreuznach 250 f/5.6 Tele Arton Linhof unit. Used it for years, even had the shutter repaired as it was a bit dodgy; if only it had more coverage I would still be using it; well, using it more than I do anyway. I've replaced it with a Fujinon 250 f/6.3 which I have taken too with gusto.

Been thinking of moving the Tele Arton on, must do something about that next year.

Mick.
