Lone Sentinel

This is probably the last one from the series worth looking at. All were taken with no filter, I really wish I had popped an orange filter on.

Nice sentinal (sic) indeed. Nature presents as chaos but there is order in it. Look behind the sentinel. There is a frieze of six trees spaced about equally apart starting frame left and finishing frame right. That cadence elegantly supports the prominence of the big tree.

Ha, you are right, put an a instead of an e, fixed now.

Frieze, mmm, bit of a long shot there Maris, but I agree with you about the background of trees; it is why I took this picture from where I did.

For what it's worth, I also like this is a severely cropped panorama, as in an enclosed landscape. With the sky cropped out, I think it is a far stronger image.
