Gelatin-silver photograph on Freestyle Private Reserve VC FB photographic paper, image size 19.5cm X 24.5cm, from an 8x10 Efke IR820 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD triple extension field view camera fitted with a Schneider Super Angulon 121mm f8 lens and an IR680 filter.

Exposure was 15minutes at f22 reflecting the extremely slow EI = 0.15 characteristic of this batch of film.

Oooh, Maris, nice one.

I do love B&W IR films, never saw much in any colour versions.

This is very moody, with just the right amount of softness which probably emanates from the length of the exposure, as well as all (most) IR film's hard to focus exactly issue. It's not as though you have a little red line on your bellows for focusing compensation, eh?

I think this one would look good framed and mounted on a wall.

Do you have much of this film left?

Edit:- Is that an elephant trunk dead centre at/near the treeline?

Thanks Mick for your kind words.
I got lucky with picture sharpness on this one. The deep forest is breeze-less so minimal leaf movement, Efke IR820 has less focus shift than good ol' Kodak HIE, and the wide lens at f22 swallows lots of focus ambiguity.

The Efke IR820 I still have is 11X14 so it's a project to cut it down to 8x10 and 4x5; a project I've been putting off.

Ah, the elephant! My literal minded eye didn't see it. Mick I envy your capacity for pareidolia and it's ability to enhance visual experience.
