Close to home in Leichhardt
Hickson Steps at the Rocks and a house that has always amused me. This wall with small windows faces North with a commanding view of the harbour. The colonialists were used to English conditions where bad weather came in from the North so they sheltered the place with small windows. The South elevation - facing our bad weather - is open verandahs and French windows.
Car meets the Rocks. 'Nuf sed.
I have long wanted to shoot the Macquarie Building. The scale is quite deceiving and the 10 or twelve foot high tree is dwarfed to look like a Bonsai.
