Recent work

I recently re-visited a local swamp and found it somewhat less verdant than the last time I photographed it. I used my 5x7 camera and really liking the image I thought a larger print would look nice on the wall.

So back I goes with my 8x10 and my 11x14. The 8x10 image worked really well but the 11x14 fogged badly.

I've had no luck with the 11x14 camera. Still getting light leaks into the homemade film holder even after I drastically redesigned and rebuilt it.

In an effort to salvage the FB paper neg I bleached it in iodine reducer which greatly increased the look of the paper grain.

I think the resulting contact print works really well though after trimming off the grossly over exposed edges the image is only slightly larger than 8x10.
