Wrinkled Bark, Snow Gum Trunk
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ultrafine Silver Eagle VC FB photographic paper, image size 24.7cm X 19.3cm, from a 8x10 Kodak Tmax 400 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.

This is a gentle abstraction highlighted by noon light skimming down the trunk of the tree. The film holder was inserted into the back of the camera from the bottom not the top. This was done to keep direct sunlight out of the dark-slide slot.

Very interesting choice of trunk section deployed there Maris. You just have enough light from the right direction to emphasise the ripples/wrinkles.

Reversing the film back for a downward, or underneath DDS insertion is something I haven't done myself. At least I cannot remember ever doing that; but it is a valid tool for keeping sunlight out, as well as water from light rain. Nice tip.
