Here's another photograph from this year's sojourn in the high country. When the snow turned to ice and became very slippery and dangerous to venture upon I couldn't access big landscapes and instead looked to small things at my feet. This is an attempted abstraction which owes a lot to Harry Callahan's famous treatment of similar subject matter back in the 1940s.
