Oh my! What a picture. The Scheimpflug condition delivers wonders. It reminds me of this famous precedent from Saint Ansel http://www.preview-art.com/previews/11- ... -Roots.jpg
ADAMS, ANSEL (1902-1984)
"Roots, Foster Gardens, Honolulu, Hawaii." Silver print, 7 1/4x5 3/4 inches (18.4x14.6 cm.), with Adams's San Francisco hand stamp with the typed title and "Portfolio One," and additional notations, in pencil and in ink, in an unknown hand, on verso. 1947; printed 1970s
Estimate $4,500-5,500

Thank you Maris!

I went out to shoot this immense wall that has two doors either end of it, in one of the suburbs near me, and came back with that shot instead. Despite the ants and bugs biting my legs while I was setting up, I saw it and though "that's a picture".

It is quite powerful and sensuous at the same time.

Hey alex, just saw your reply. I was shooting with Foma for a short while but was struggling at the time with my film developing and so stopped shooting with it as I thought it was the film to blame rather than me! I've since got my processes in place and am thinking of having a go with Foma again. When I got it right, I was really happy with the results but more often than not would end up with really thin negatives.
