Welcome back (hopefully!) and my apologies!

Postby Alastair Moore » 26 Jul 2012, 10:22

Well, I guess it had to happen sometime with a free host.

Sincere apologies for losing the forum before. I've put the new forum on a new host which I can assure will be going nowhere!

So, a fresh start.

Cheers,

Welly

Welcome back indeed...

I noticed the URL change a few weeks back from Hostingdelivered to something else then back again... I thought the server might be doing a death roll..

Good to see you fire it back up.. Hopefully everyone comes back...

hello, Hello HELLO, HELLO - There's no one here, look, this ship has been sailing unmanned for a millennium, but if that is the case where is all the crap, old Linhof kits, 10x8" Sinar Normas, DeVere 504s and all the other stuff you'd expect to find - Phuq, let's get out of here before the aliens return

It was not easy to find the new address. But I am here.

Those of us who were SPAM warriors on the old site, are we still listed as Moderators?

Cheers,

Walter

Hello Walter and welcome back! I've set you up as a global moderator so if you see the opportunity to do some spam-busting, then you're fully equipped to do so!

Thanks!

Hi Welly,

Many thanks. And thanks especially for migrating to the new server. Everything is much more as one would expect.

Can I just ask why this site is so hard to find on google?
I have bookmarked this site at work from the link I was sent, then wanted to look at it last night and no matter what I tried could not find the address (having deleted the link from my e-mail like an idiot). Had to give up in the end and wait until this morning.
Surely If I cannot find it through google we'll struggle to pick up new members who have not been invited via e-mail?
I'd love this to build but it'll be hard if it's a secret society, the Freeemasons of large format!
Just sayin.....
