Bastards Inc. being proper bastards

I have never been a 35mm shooter anyway, but this seems a callous call from an organisation that still manufactures costly film equipment.

To me, it makes perfect sense (insert some sort of face here that shows sarcasm).

Why would a digital-focused camera company allow film images to show up just how much better they are compared to digital capture?

They have (and will continue to) spend millions on advertising digital and its "superiority", and just one great shot on film would render this a waste.

Nor do you need to update your F6/FA/FT-3/F801 et al every 2 years to avoid the taunts of the other Pixelographers.

I'm not too upset by it as it makes me even more quirky being a film shooter!

Damn; I knew that I should have trade marked it…

It does roll off the tongue well. Bit like "simpleton", "Lemming" and "Just like eating Chinese food".
