A listing/directory of Australian LF landscape photographers

Postby L2obin » 28 Jun 2013, 23:41

I would like to initiate a database/directory of Australian LF (and eventually other countries) photographers and would like the communities help in generating and designing it. So far the following are the fields that I have come up with. Any suggestions on altering, adding or eliminating fields? Once I lock the fields in, I will start populating it with your help.

Photographer:
DOB-DOD:
Format/s:
Colour/BW:
Genre:
Books:
Website:

Doesn't this website already offer something similar?

I think it's a great idea, personally. I'm happy to help out and get involved. I'll have a think this week what additional data you might want to capture.

Is the plan to include prominent photographers, or anyone who uses LF?

I think, the plan is to include prominent and enthusiast photographers. It's more to serve as a discovery tool for everyone's work. The pros will come through as they will have books/prominent work under their names. The idea is to grow it beyond just photographers and into a Photography resource center eventually.
