It's a movie worth watching but put aside the time and some preconceptions. Frankly it rambles too much, the pace is too leisurely, and it doesn't have a strong narrative thread. I'm told George Tice works like that now he is free of the frantic family portrait business that fed him for years.
Point Light Gallery in Sydney represents George Tice and maintains a sales stock of his original work that's viewable by appointment. Last time I looked at it there were photographs from his New Jersey and Amish projects. By curious and dubious privilege I'm in the same stack as G.T. but my solander box is further down. I'm not complainin'.
