G'day!

Postby Alastair Moore » 09 Jul 2014, 08:45

Well, firstly my apologies for my silence this end over the past almost 12 months. But glad to see the forum still thriving!

As some of you knew, I left Australia last year to return back to the UK. I decided it wasn't for me back here and so I've been working on returning and returning I will be doing at the end of August or thereabouts. I've managed to find myself a job in Darwin and so will be heading that way. I'm really looking forward to being back in Australia and will no doubt be in a position to become part of the forum again when I'm back.

Anyway, see you soon!

Alastair

Excellent news, Alastair.

You've picked a great place to base yourself, especially if you like shooting storm clouds. Have a look at some of the late Peter Jarver's work, and Google "Hector".

The NT's got such a varied pallet of landscapes, ever changing though-out the year.

Thanks guys! I think NT will be quite an experience and somewhat different to my time in NSW. I was hoping to get back to Australia for the next Large Format Group meeting but it'll be a bit too late I suspect. Anyway, looking forward to seeing what NT has to offer and I'll certainly look up that work you suggested Lachlan!

Will be great to have you back Alastair, but yes I'm afraid you will just miss the LFG on the weekend of 23/24 August.
