Camera repairs in Australia?

Something I've been meaning to do for a while, my Toyo 4x5 has a slightly bent rear standard and I'm not that keen on trying to sort it out myself. It hasn't affected the images that I can see but would be good to get it sorted. Does anyone know of anywhere that does repairs to large format cameras?

Thanks!

Camera Clinic in Melbourne will surely do it, but may not be cheap. Perhaps talk to Scott at Mainline in Sydney ?

Maybe it'd be worth getting a quote for a new rail + postage from the US service rep and having a go at fixing it yourself?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. It's such a minor thing, I probably could/should have a go myself. I might get my old man to assist in tackling it myself, just don't want to make it any worse! I'll have a look and if I have no success with it, when I get back to Aus I'll speak to Camera Clinic.

Alastair,

I would not stuff about with it myself.

I know from close experience that if you contact Sakai Special Camera in Japan that they will refurbish the camera perfectly. It may yake a while but it will be perfect. They have the jigs to correct any alignment issues.

I've had great service by Hans at Mainline photo. He has worked on about four of my cameras, and I've always been very pleased. Reasonably priced too.
