Nathan,

The Shen Hao sold last night. It did not work out for me. I gave it a go and made my choice.

The rear standard was not sufficiently rigid and the bed did not extend enough to get close with a 300mm.

I suspect I'll stick with the Sinar until a windfall lets me buy a Chamonix. Then again, I might just keep and use what I know works.

Cheers,

PS: How did the Blue Mountains shoot go?

Understandable, I guess at the least you've satisfied your curiosity with Shen Hao's. I'm still trying to make up my mind whether or not to keep mine or sell up with the rest of my LF gear, as enjoyable as it is I struggle to justify the costs especially now I'm on a government salary. In the fridge I still have 58 sheets of Tmax 100 so theres still a bit of time to decide!

The Mountains shoot went really well, I came away with a few images that I really loved and can't wait to print. I've popped them on Flickr but probably won't put them up here as they were shot on MF.
