FS: Ritter 7x17 and Walker 5x7

Postby john s » 06 Apr 2016, 14:32

I have two cameras I am not using and would rather someone had them who was putting them to good use. I shoot mainly 8x10 these days.
1. Walker 5x7. This is an English camera made using ABS plastic and is very rugged. Details can be found from the Walker website: http://www.walkercameras.com The camera comes with a 4x5 reducing back, a 6x17 Canham roll-film holder, a Polaroid 545 Pro back, 4 5x7 filmholders, 4 lensboards (copal 0, 2 x copal 1, tophat copal 1), and some 5x7 and 4x5 outdated film.

2. Ritter 7x17. This an American camera, made with a carbon fibre tube extension bed. http://www.lg4mat.net I used it with a 305mm G-Claron and 450mm Fuji lens. This camera is made to use Wehman lensboards (http://www.wehmancamera.com/camera.html ) but could be changed. Included with the camera are 2x S&S filmholders, an instructional video, one undrilled Wehman lensboard, one and a half boxes of outdated film (which has been ok up to Nov 2015). There is also a homemade developing tube, a homemade printing frame (not pictured) and a suitcase that fits the camera and filmholders available if required.

Both of these cameras are still available new.
Both cameras are in very good condition. The Ritter focus dial may need some work – or I may be using it incorrectly. I find it easier to use the tube extensions to focus.
The cameras are in Tasmania and I am open to offers.
