WTD 5x7 spring back

Looking a 5x7 spring back, can swap for a Toyo 4x5 rotating back, or even a 90mm f6.8 Angulon

Barry Cochran from (the new) Deardorff sells the 4x5/5x7 springs on eBay if that helps.

Yes, one of mine Shane.

Most often there is talk about what materials to use for the springs. I thought keep it simple and why metal springs, why not something else. All the "spring" back needs to do is hold the film holder firmly without leaking light.

Have a go! Its cheaper and more fun to build your own gear.

Thank Lachlan, but by the report from Apug he is not very reliable. Anyway for what I'm thinking it would be a bit like sticking a gold tooth in a rat.
Ray, yes I use shock cord to hold film holder on pinhole cameras it a great idea.
