Instant Film Options?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum, and forums overall, so firstly hello! There is a wealth of information here, so I am looking forward to learning heaps!
If this has already been covered somewhere else - apologies in advance.

I really want to do some work with my linhof and toyo and some fuji instant film (fp 100c, and b/w) I have some of the old single sheet polaroid and fuji loaders (no film obviously), and have been trying to track down a way to use the cartridge fuji film packs on these cameras. Is my best option to buy an old Polaroid land camera, or passport camera and try and create a back this way(by removing the bottom area)? I have polaroid backs for meduim format cameras, but really would like the biggest image I can achieve.

Any suggestions?

Thanks heaps everyone.

You need to look for a Fuji PA-145. Fuji PA-145 is for the Polaroid Type 100 films (3.25x4.25) as well as the Fuji films of course, FP-100C, FP100B, and FP-3000B.
Fuji stopped making film for the PA 45 which was for 4x5 inch instant film.

You can still find the 4x5 instant film from time to time - I've got a fridge full of it (well, about 5 boxes left of mixed FP100-C45 and FP-3000B45) - Vision Imagelab in Redfern seem to believe they can still get hold of it and when I asked about it, they didn't seem to realise it was no longer manufactured. So there's possibly a stash of Fujiroid somewhere.

Have just checked eBay - there's loads of it (FP-100C45). Someone there is selling it in individual packs, twin packs or ten packs if you so wish.
