Uploading a link from Flickr

Postby Bazz8 » 30 Mar 2015, 20:54

I answered a post in regards to light leaks and have several shots that clarify my statements ,but how do i go about sharing a picture from Flickr,
spent 20 minutes embedding linking and generally bamboozling myself any words of clear instruction would be appreciated. I have read online and it makes no sence to me ( warning Luddite)

Ok, pretty easy. If you go to Flickr and click on the image you want to post up. In the bottom right corner are a bunch of icons:

The one with the arrow that is pointing right is the share link. Click on that and a little popup will appear.

Select the BBCode option and under that there is a size select box. Click on that and select medium or large and then below that some code will be generated. Select and copy the code and paste it into a new message.

Let me know how you get on!

I was clicking on the url and placing the BBC code in between the[url][/url] then I tried Img and Code LOL
which begs the question why are they there?
BTW this is much easier than the LF America set up to place a picture in a post
