Shutter Repair in Sydney?

I have a copal 3s shutter that seems to stick/drag on 1s setting.

Is there someone in Sydney that can repair it?

Alternatively, I had s look online/YouTube and it seems like opening it up and reliving the timing mechanism might be worth a try?
Has anyone successfully carried this out and could offer some guidance?

I seldom require servicing to my gear but when I do I send it to Legend through ECS at Drummoyne. However, I learned yesterday that the guy at Legend is currently on leave O/S for about 6 weeks.

As for opening up a shutter and working on the slow speed race, I am too cautious when it comes to such matters. I have always operated by mutual agreement that repair technicians don't take pictures, and I don't get too far into mechanical repairs.

Hi Walter. I can’t seemto find a reference to Legend or ECS at Drummoyne? Would you have their details?

I was under the impression that ECS has (sadly) ceased trading.

Correct! What a difference a year makes. ECS closed several months ago and I suspect that legend might have also changed grammatically to Past Tense.

Get some shellite and remove the shutter covers and place the shutter in the shellite 2-30 min
turn the shutter over and allow to drain the amount of gunk that comes out will surprise you.
I have cleaned a couple like that

Thanks Bazz. I have order in a cheap Chinese sonic cleaner. That might help....
