Gelatin-silver photograph on Ilford VC FB photographic paper, image size 24.6cm X 19.5cm, from a 8x10 Tmax 400 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD triple extension field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.
How does one make it rain in the Girraween National Park? Easy, set up a tent for a long weekend.

I hope the gear stayed dry in the rain, Maris.

No worries Walter. Getting the priorities right is the thing. When the storm comes the gear gets locked in the car and the photographer takes his chances in the cheap tent. If I've picked a good site and pitched the tent properly what happens next is out of my hands. Thus do I reassure myself.

Agreed Maris,

But too lazy for all the effort of a tent, I have invariably driven vans with rook to shelter and take a kip.

In fact, once I get on top of things at work (audit and AGM time right now) I'll be heading off to Boorowa for a snapping spell.
