In my 20s I worked for a lab in Melbourne that employed a blind fellow for loading processing racks.
All good until some ridiculously cruel bastard played a practical "joke" on April Fool's Day by turning the light in. The loading room on.
As you'd expect the cruel bugger got the sack. Sadly, so did the blind geezer.
