Re: Ilford LC 29 or Foma chemistry

Hi Barry, I used the lc29 while I took photos to dial in the ground glass registry on my 4x5 and 8x10 cameras, it certainly shows a lot more density than RO9. After more testing I think the in-camera negs may be used for making my Kallitypes. Unfortunately I have not tested the acutance, as my gg sc...

Re: Andrew Chalmers

Thanks to Both Barry and Oscar for your help, now fully functional again, must remember to change the password to one I might remember. I saved the old password, but it has been lost somewhere in the flotsam that is BIGPOND Mail.

Re: Developing A Contact Print from a 8x10 X-ray film neg

If it works then ignore me for being an upstart. I guess it depends on your concentration of developer, when starting out (not that long ago)I used 8x10 trays for 8x10 print (and recommended dev ratios), seemed logical but I was not only getting mottled portions on the prints, but the edges were als...

Re: Developing A Contact Print from a 8x10 X-ray film neg

Hi Barry, briefly watched your video, congrats! Perhaps we will see you at Cannes some day. I have bought a sj6 sports cam to do the same thing for making kALLITYPES. I had intended to use a small tripod, as it provides a slightly more stable image than the head mount. I think perhaps your tray size...

Re: X Ray Film

I went through a period where I woudn't shoot skies, for the same reason, blotching. There aren't many options for xray, you have to be so careful not to scratch. I bought a mod54 out of desperation, still was no good for xray, so I made a few mods on it. Now it occasionaly drops a sheet, but is gen...

Re: Still Life Red Roses with x-ray film

Thanks Bazz, apologies for crashing your thread, but this was one roll I tried and the colours were pretty good. I must admit I did not do the developing, I used "Micheals", they still do all the processes
