Re: Heathcote CBA

What a beaut photograph of a beaut building! Mick , how did you get the brilliant contrast between the white accents on the facade and the subdued reddish brickwork? I would have looked for help from a filter, maybe a green, but I see that you did it straight. And it's always gratifying to see a ver...

Re: McIvor Creek

Thanks, Mick , for the fascinating account on how the Reveni Labs Wireless Remote Shutter Release tamed the sway in the suspension bridge. For firing a camera at a distance that gadget is a lot more convenient than my buzzy Auto-Knips self-timer or my air powered Pneumatic Remote Release; the one wi...

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54508997240_3e6352ae40_c.jpg This is a factory numbered set of film holders with sides designated 1 to 60. I believe this was a special order by Fred Picker for his Zone VI Studios catalogue. Opinions differ but some say this version of Fidelity Elite holders was...

Re: Serviceton Scorers Shed

Curiosity compelled me to go to the Serviceton camping ground and recreation reserve and have a look around. This journey via the Google Earth website is the laziest possible but revealing none the less. Mick , you are right, there's not a lot there and I mused about where I would put a camera to ca...
