Maris, doing the soft focus is unbelievably good.

One is almost transfixed with the dazzling reflections, and as a bonus, the falloff in the top corners, and to a lesser extent, across the top, pushes your view to the centre, where all the action is.

Quite the masterclass in lighting.

Oscar, I think 4x5 is the better format!

That said, the most wonderful format I've used; as an assistant to a photographer, was 11x14". But the size of the film holders, and their weight, now that is another story.......

Nice lot there, if only these were available around 30 years ago when I was looking for some more film holders. And yes, those film holders, of which I have some, are very nice to use.
