I think he's got the newer, multi-coated version.

Makes bugger all difference with B&W unless you're shooting into the sun. Which I've never done.

And I think it's another kilo heavier. Suitable for dead lift practice!

Re: Building a 7x17 inch ULF camera

You pervert!!

I'm down Tuesday morning, heading Sth over the week.

Hope to do a quick visit to Secret Falls one of the days.

I'll let you know when I'm close to Slowbart and see if you're free.

(Loving you latest shots, BTW!)

Re: My LF Tale of Woe and Joy

I'll keep an eye out. Last year, I purchased a C33 with silver shuttered 80mm and 180mm. Both have sticky shutters and I haven't had them CLA'ed yet. The body is mint. Not a mark. Whole lot cost me $100 after refund from Seller based on the shutters. Then got the 55mm in black Copal that is jammed. ...

Re: My LF Tale of Woe and Joy

Sorry, too.

Can you list the specific items?

I'm sure that I'm not the only one who spends an inordinate amount of time on sales/auction sites...

Re: Building a 7x17 inch ULF camera

Nup; not yet! Also, since building this, the wood seems to have shrunk a bit, leaving the movements a bit slack. Strange, as the wood is from a 50+ years old table. I thought that it would be stable by now. So, I'm now faced with either resetting the base (runners etc), or redesigning/rebuilding it....

Re: Some thoughts on bellows making

Have a look at ecbuyonline. Did a great set of bellows for me.

Heaps cheaper than the Custom Bellows.
