Re: FS/FT Pentax 6x7 with 70mm lens

Yeah my mistake, its a 75mm with clean glass. It has a pentaprism, mirror release and it came with a red screw-in filter. Not sure if it is a MkI or MkII but in saying that it is the pentax 6x7 and not the pentax 67 (the newer one with ttl metering).

Re: So I'm going to start doing some film testing..

Does anyone else find film testing somewhat useless unless your gonna be printing chemically? There is so much dynamic range leeway with modern films that you can afford to raise those shadows an extra 2/3 of a stop to account for box speed inconsistencies. I also find myself using contraction/expan...

FS/FT Pentax 6x7 with 70mm lens

Hey guys I have a good condition Pentax 6x7 sitting around not being used. I would rather trade for 4x5 gear than sell it, but the option for sale is also there.

If anyone is remotely interested in it i'll chuck some pics up.

Cheers.

Re: Well worn tripod holes

I would like to know how this photo came first!? What time of day is this supposed to represent? Looks like the photographer is trying to say too much at once...actually it would all make perfect sense if the judges were a bunch of digital photographers.

Re: Why does using Photoshop on my negatives are me feel dir

I feel that this topic is being overthought... Alastair Moore I too used to feel that my images were dirtied from using photoshop, but it was mostly due to inexperience and usage of poor technology. There is nothing worse than seeing what was in your minds eye of the scene, enlarged on a sh1tty comp...

Re: Coloured Filters for B&W

Holding filters against the lens is fraught with danger in LF (compared to smaller formats). Due to reduced DoF with the larger format/focal length, shutter speeds tend to be much longer, introducing shake. Easier, and only slightly more expensive than just the holding the filter, is to hold it in ...
