I've already got some for another project; that's where the idea came from.

And maybe replace the metal plate on the Majestic head for a sheet of CF.

I've started to consider replacing the Al tubing on my Manfrotto 161 MkII with carbon fibre sections... That thing is a monster to carry, especially with the full 7x17" kit (with the 210mm Super Angulon).

For what it's worth, I'd never buy a camera that doesn't have a Sinar mount.

The Sinar shutter is an invaluable for barrel lenses.

Sinar to Wista/Linhof adaptors are easy to find.

Being able to rack back would be good. Be better balanced if the lens isn't too far forward.

Maybe some sort of top-hat lens board to get an extra 50mm?

I really don't like Acros much; horrible with filters. IMO, its way too close to being Orthochromatic for my use. Way too hard to get good sky separation, even with #22 or #25 filters. Reciprocity isn't a difficult thing to deal with when using sheet film. Very different from using roll film where y...
