Looks like a low contrast day, bush is a hard to photograph subject, the inclusion of these limbs and/or trunk lifts the image enormously. The impact is aided by the dull background, quite a find there Maris.

This was a very quick portrait session, I had around 10 minutes from getting the request, to executing the picture; including finding somewhere to photograph. Thanks Maris, interesting observation from you about the white bits; I concur. I waited and waited for the quite small window whereby the recessed writing on the front panels were still in shadow, but the edges were in sunlight and therefore highlighting the writing. These are a pair of flow batteries, for storing solar generated energy for use when the sun isn't shining. In this outdoor enclosed format they are called a Zcell battery, if they are naked and installed in some kind of weatherproofed shelving arrangement, they are called ZBM batteries Shen Hao HZX4...

Now that is quite striking, really draws you in. Firstly for the subject, secondly for the technical execution.
