Nice sentinal (sic) indeed. Nature presents as chaos but there is order in it. Look behind the sentinel. There is a frieze of six trees spaced about equally apart starting frame left and finishing frame right. That cadence elegantly supports the prominence of the big tree. Well seen and subtle, Mick .

You have got to love a good swamp especially if the water level is down enough to show some serious mud. Thanks Mick. This was made during my "Bill Brandt" phase under the influence of his Perspective of Nudes book. A wide angle lens on a view camera pointing up steeply from floor level is hard to focus as well as being a contortionist's nightmare.
