I saw this and the other image on the other forum. I think they're both amazing. I don't think you have to make excuses for either wetplate or portraiture technique. You're doing great work.

Looks like you're on the right track Shane. I haven't done Kallitypes myself but I believe the negs need to be a bit over developed compare to silver gelatin. Your print looks quite good on the screen, but I bet the actual print looks much better.

Nicely done, Maris - texture in the snow and I imagine detail in the grass heads although they're too small on my monitor to see clearly.
