Re: Missing In Action

Hi Walter I hope by now you are in a better place and hopefully recovered from the stroke. It’s a bugger getting older and I have also taken a few serious jolts - sudden hearing loss following a mild cold. It turned my world upside down For about two years but now coping. It’s been a long time since...

Re: Bronco Yard Diamantina NP Qld

The image doses successfully capture the uniqueness of the Australian outback its vastness and incredibly harsh conditions.
The vestiges of human intervention seem to tell a sad story - ultimately nature wins and we are humbled.
Great work!

Re: Rhys

This portrait has a wonderful surreal and haunting presence.
Proves old lenses and alternative processes can yield impressive results!
In the right hands of course!

Re: Marigolds in Tricopherous Bottle

I like the elegance of this image where the flowers somehow gain increased presence from the contrasting structural elements of the drawers. I imagine the silver print would be quite luminous and rewarding to view with perhaps a 3D quality created by the light and careful position of the old bottle....

Re: Well that's my question answered for me..

Hi Lachlan I wasn't pushing Kodak over Ilford, I was simply advising that both these films in 8X 10 can be purchased from B&H for those who might be interested. I also generally buy Ilford film as they have shown a solid commitment to support analogue photography and maintaining LF film - and at...

Ray of Hope!

If you check B&H they have Both TMax 400 and Delta 100 for in stock. Kodak TMax 400 is much more expensive at $103.50 for 10 sheets Ilford Delta is a mere $109 for 25 sheets which is good value on today's market. FP4 has a similar price. But of course we have a lousy exchange rate......(!) The k...
