A few from around Kosci on expired film

I tested some old Agfa Agfapan APX 100 last week, it had expired in the same year that I finished high school, 1997. It was still shooting just fine and I settled on something between iso 50 and 100 and shot a bunch of sheets these past few days. They're each shot on the speed graphic with the 150mm...

Re: Watching TV

Thanks a lot for the info and encouragement everyone. Trust me when I say that catching my kids engrossed in whats on he TV is like shooting fish in a barrel... i could do it all day, without even needing to ask them to hold still! Walter, I'd already had a few goes loading and unloading the septums...

Re: Watching TV

Thanks Walter! Yep, I took it out on a dog walk yesterday and will see how the FP shutter works... this, like you say, will open lots of opportunities to shoot 4x5 in situations where it would have previously been another format. It came with a work grafmatic too, and the idea of holding a large for...

Watching TV

This is the first sheet of film that I've run through a new-to-me LF rig, a Graflex Speed Graphic from around 1968. Its a "Model FP" and has a Rodenstock Sironar N 150mm attached. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51822332857_6435ef253e_c.jpg Watching TV by J P , on Flickr This was the t...

Hi Walter, here is the full frame... https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51823979310_f1634461af_c.jpg Uncropped blueys by J P , on Flickr Pretty big landing pad at the bottom there! Thanks also for your words on consistency. For what its worth, I looked up the Ilford temperature adjustment charts an...

Re: Blueys fall

Thanks for the welcome back, Walter! In truth I've been making lots and lots of photos, but mainly with my 6x6 bronica and various 35mm shots. I've been enjoying a nice long summer break with fam, and those smaller cameras are quicker and less of a drag for everyone to wait around :) Thanks for the ...

Blueys fall

I'm not sure of the name of this place, but it sits right above Empress falls, which was totally PACKED the other day. I did get down to the bigger falls, composed for 5mins, inserted film holder, had my darkslilde 80% out (no lie) when I saw a canyoning rope flop over the lip and sit there... for 2...

Re: A Couple Of Model Shots

Those shots seem so skilful to me, Walter, as Maris said, you've made models look like full sized buildings, no doubt. Regarding the tilt shift lenses, I've been thinking about one for architectural work, and possibly a bit of landscape action too. I'd be keen to hear the limitations that you ran in...

Re: A gully to the Brindabellas

Thanks heaps for the feedback, guys! Walter, yes it's the GD3WH, a lot less compact than your lefoto (and the arca Swiss cube, which I'd have loved!) But is doing the job. The quick release for large scale adjustments Ali's really, really good and thr gear is fine... levelling is a totally different...

A gully to the Brindabellas

This was yesterday arvo, with my new Benro geared head... it is a great addition to the kit. Looking forward to having it on hand with buildings in frame.
