Re: Sydney - Coogee/eastern beaches on Saturday?

I am heading in the opposite direction — I have to pick up a tripod I purchased from a geezer in Avalon.

Not to say that I couldn't make it to Coogee later in the day.

I am just wondering about crowds in the region due to the Sculptures by the Sea at Bondi.

Re: A LF Portraitiste Who Might Impress

I saw a lot of Sally Mann in her work Maris, but I wonder if that is down to it being pics of ankle biters?

I'll have another look when I get home tonight for the Jockster influence.

Re: Snow Gums, April, Infrared.

For me, the photograph is an intimate communication to be held in the hands and looked at at arm's length. Obviously it follows that the printed page of a book is in the ball park of this credo of mi...

Re: Going to Melbourne tomorrow

Alastair, If you have not been there previously you'll likely be impressed by the architecture. At the core of melbourne is a very European old city with well considered modern embellishments. It is a city on a river which is always very different to a city on a harbour. I'd go so far as saying that...

Re: WTB jobo 8x10 Expert Drum

Shane, The inside of the tank is a bit like the chamber of a revolver with a number of cylinders. The fluids are introduced through the centre of the lid, as usual, and as the level rises the fluid enters each of the chambers when it is at the bottom of the rotation. With the tank on a motorised pro...

Re: IR820 comparision

A quite inspiring result. It is ages since I tried any IR - somewhere I still have the R72 filter, I am sure - but it is probably time to dip the toe into the IR waters yet again.
