Nude, Warm Rock, Granite Bay
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ilford VC FB photographic paper, image size 24.6cm X 19.5cm, from a 8x10 Kodak Tmax 400 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD triple extension field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.
This was a mid-winter shot but my bold and cheerful model reckoned the rock had been in the sun all day and was very comfortable.

Very nicely done.

The highlights on the rocks are of a similar strength to those on her body, the mid tones and shadow tones are similar as well.

Certainly on top of your game there.

Mick.

Everything Mick said ...... PLUS: I wonder how it might have been is the skin had some sand on it to gain some of the texture of the rock? Maybe even a slightly overcast, diffused light to retain the basic specularity of the skin but reduce the sharply defined umbra? I know, I know, it is done and it is what it is — but for a 'next time' it might be a thing to motivate getting the gear set-up on a less radiant day. Just a though.
