Tanned Nude with Sand.

Same bold and cheerful model as at Granite Bay but with sand and strong cross-lighting emphasising form and texture.

Tanned Nude with Sand
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ilford VC FB photographic paper, image size 24.4cm X 19.6cm, from a 8x10 Kodak Tmax 400 negative exposed in a Tachihara 810HD triple extension field view camera fitted with a Fujinon-W 300mm f5.6 lens.

Excellent study of texture, with great form.

Once again, tones all toned down; really great stuff.

Delightfully preternatural, Maris.

Back in my days of churning out endless T&A for magazines it was very popular with the readership to oil the body to deepen the tan and then roll the model in sand to add texture. I used to refer to it as the crumbed cutlet look.
